I was inspired to write and illustrate this book on India after visiting the school library and realising most of the books about India depict India only as a village. Coming from India and being based in America for more than a year this book is looking through the eyes of an Indian boy raised up in America being questioned about his roots.

I remember wanting to make something similar for my final masters project in 2006. I am so glad the app is free will benefit more people. Unfortunately you need to be rich enough to afford the ipad :) But kudos to them.

Finally I blog about a project I have done actually my baby :)

FABLE is an interactive multiplayer edutainment table for children with
various abilities.
FABLE is a means of collaborative learning. It is a platform on which
numerous educational as well as entertainment games can be played. It
has been inspired by the traditional mode of interaction among children.
My research was done at Association of People with Disability, Bangalore
(An inclusive school). Three lessons have been made for the prototype.
The fun lessons help children learn sentence formation. The topics for the
story were decided keeping in mind the children's life.
The prototype has been developed after a lot of iterations. With the
improvement of technology FABLE is sure to become better by the day,
bringing more and more children together.

If anybody would like to help me in completing it so that it can be used in the school are welcome.
